The developers are also working on enabling official modding tools for Darkest Dungeon 2. Red Hook Studios has promised that it will support Darkest Dungeon 2 with post-launch content and updates similar to its predecessor. The full version of the game will feature a five-act, story-driven campaign with 12 playable characters to include in your squad. Unfortunately, there is no such option on Steam, which means it will only be available for purchase after the official release. At the moment, you can purchase the Early Access version of Darkest Dungeon 2 on Epic Games Store for $29.99, but the price will increase by an unknown amount once the full version has arrived.
